Soul is the foundation for all things Srilax. It is the passion project of young couple Isuru and Shana, who wanted to break away from the monotony of city hotels and give travellers a more intimate and design led experience of the city.
Nestled in the heart of the city in a secluded and calming setting, the allure of Colombo beckons from just a few feet away. You can faintly make out the music of horns blaring as it drifts towards you, along with the distinct energy emanating from the city. You are at once sheltered from the commotion but just within reach of the flurry of activity waiting to be discovered.
discoverOur five rooms are designed with a modern Sri Lankan inspired aesthetic in mind. All rooms are equipped with air con, overhead fan, WiFi and brand new bathrooms – all incredibly clean and well maintained. From Tuesday through to Sunday, Colombo’s café darling downstairs - Café Kumbuk serves up delicious locally sourced and natural food and great Sri Lankan coffee. Even though you have never been here before, it feels like you have come home. Stay a while and let your spirit rest.
